About this role
As a Retail Associate at Lagardere Travel Retail for Fashion, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within our fashion retail stores. Your primary duties will include:
Greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs
Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate information to customers
Recommending and demonstrating products to customers based on their preferences and needs
Processing sales transactions using a point-of-sale system and handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
Restocking merchandise and ensuring proper product placement
Achieving individual and team sales targets through effective sales techniques and customer engagement
Participating in store promotions, events, and product launches
Collaborating with team members to provide a seamless customer experience
Performing various ad hoc duties as assigned by management
Who we’re looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service
- Knowledge of fashion trends and a passion for the industry
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Proficiency in using a point-of-sale system and basic computer skills
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
