What requirements you'll need to be eligible
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field;
MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or relationship
management within the BFSI sector.
- In-depth understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance industries, including regulatory environment, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth
opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and
influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in a similar role within the BFSI sector is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of financial products and services, such as loans, investments, insurance
policies, and risk management solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for tracking leads, managing
pipelines, and generating reports.
What you'll be doing on the job
Job Description:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyse data to assess market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards affecting BFSI sectors.
2. Business Planning and Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify key areas for growth and formulate strategies to penetrate new markets.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop pricing strategies and product offerings.
3. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients, including banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies.
- Lead sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to onboard new clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
4. Partnership Development:
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, including technology providers, regulatory bodies, and professional organizations.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint offerings, expand service capabilities, and enhance market presence.
5. Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Meet or exceed sales targets by actively prospecting and converting leads into
sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across BFSI
segments.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyse results, and adjust strategies as needed
to optimize outcomes.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company objectives.
- Provide market feedback and insights to inform product roadmap and business strategy.
