Who you'll be working for
A leading distributor of specialty chemicals and personal care ingredients in Malaysia, providing innovative solutions for the food and personal care industries.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in Power Apps and Power Automate development.
- Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O, UiPath, VBA or related is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of relational database technologies and integration technologies, APIs, and protocols.
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Canvas/model-driven apps, SharePoint, Power BI), relational databases (design/SQL/tuning), and web APIs (SOAP/REST).
- Experience with tooling (GIT/JIRA/Azure DevOps) and VBA.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Flexible mindset, positive attitude, and ability to adapt in an evolving environment.
- Excellent time management skills to follow different assigned targets.
- Highly organized, hands-on, able to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities and
meet deadlines
What you'll be doing on the job
- Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies for financial process optimization.
- Develop and implement custom solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Develop, program, and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions for financial processes using relevant tools and technologies.
- Develop RPA or automation tools for seamless integration with existing financial systems, ERP software, and other relevant platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform features and trends.
- Collaborate with Finance end-users to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to optimize processes further as continuous improvement.
- Create comprehensive documentation for automated processes, including specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and support.
- Provide training to end-users on newly developed automated processes and tools. Offer ongoing support to address any issues or concerns related to the automated financial processes.
- Conduct workshops, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of low-code platforms to teammates and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor the performance of automated processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest and implement enhancements.
