What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • Possess an Accounting certificate, LCCI, Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience working experience in a similar position.
  • Exposure to F&B or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
  • Result oriented person with a keen eye for detail and possess good analytical skills.
  • Possess a working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, excel spreadsheet and accounting software, preferably SAGE.
  • A quick learner and good team player who is able to work with minimum supervision.
What you'll be doing on the job
  • Manage full set of accounts, WHT & SST and income tax submission, cash flow forecast.
  • Prepare management reporting and other ad-hoc reporting, perform analysis to highlight variances, conduct findings and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise creditor and follow-up closely on overdue payments.
  • Supervise monthly debtors clearing and merchant clearing.
  • Liaise with tax agent, banker, company secretary, statutory bodies/authorities and financial and accounting related matters , address queries from auditors, tax agents, statutory body and handle required submission according to stipulated timeline.
  • Prepare yearly budget and do periodic update of re-forecasting and/or revised budget as requested.
  • Assist in process improvement and automation implementation for finance & accounting function.
  • Comply with accounting standards and company policies guidelines & procedures, where applicable.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure work assignments are completed as per expectations timely.
