What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a technical support or related role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Familiarity with networking protocols, troubleshooting tools, and concepts (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP).
- Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, SQL Server) and application servers.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve technical issues effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
- Customer Orientation: A proactive approach to customer satisfaction and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
What you'll be doing on the job
- Technical Assistance: Provide first and second-level technical support to customers via email, phone, or in-person.
- Issue Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Installation & Configuration: Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, and systems.
- Incident Management: Document, track, and escalate customer issues using the company's ticketing system.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify the underlying causes of recurring problems and recommend improvements.
- Customer Training: Provide technical guidance and training to customers to enhance their understanding and use of our products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including development, QA, and operations, to address customer feedback and improve product quality.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and best practices for future reference.
