What you'll be doing on the job

Equipment Repair and Maintenance

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain cold chain equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, cold storage units, and temperature-controlled packaging systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure continuous and efficient operation of equipment, minimizing downtime.
• Identify and replace faulty components, ensuring equipment functions within specified pharmaceutical standards.

Calibration and Quality Control

• Perform regular calibration of cold chain equipment to maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDP, GMP).
• Conduct performance testing of repaired equipment to verify proper temperature and humidity control for pharmaceutical storage and transport.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of repairs, replacements, and maintenance activities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide reports on equipment performance, repair timelines, and recurring issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Track spare parts inventory and communicate requirements for replenishment to ensure timely availability.

Regulatory Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations during all repair and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or equipment damage.
• Ensure repaired equipment complies with pharmaceutical cold chain regulations and company quality standards.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, performing on-site diagnostics and emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and improve equipment reliability.
