What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • Must have Bachelor' degree in relevant field (Biomedical science, insurance).
  • Have underwriting experience will be advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
What you'll be doing on the job
  • Performs prudent underwriting of new business, existing policies and reinstatement of lapsed policies within expected response time set. 
  • Manages all aspects of underwriting process, selects and classifies risk according to company philosophy and standards. 
  • Analyses and interprets medical, non-medical and financial information. 
  • Makes decisions within approval limits and determines appropriate requirements. 
  • Liaises with Specialists inclusive of Reinsurers to gather information and opinions. 
  • Continues professional development.
