What requirements you'll need to be eligible
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Min 5+ years of experience in HR and office administration, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Adaptable and resourceful, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.

What you'll be doing on the job
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Develop and manage recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the startup company.
- Handle the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into the company culture.
Policy Development and Compliance
- Create and implement HR policies and procedures which are aligned to local statutory requirements and tailored to the needs of the startup company.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook to reflect current practices and legal requirements.
Employee Engagement and Retention
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention in a dynamic startup environment.
- Plan and execute team-building activities, wellness programs, and other employee-focused initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Performance Management
- Establish and manage performance appraisal processes, including goal setting and feedback sessions.
- Provide support to managers in addressing performance-related matters and career development planning.
Office Operations Management
- Oversee daily office operations, including supplies, facilities, and vendor management.
- Ensure the office environment is functional, organized, and conducive to productivity.
- Manage office budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-efficiency.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including contracts, vendor agreements, and office leases.
Technology and Systems Management
- Implement and maintain HR and administrative systems, such as HRIS and task management tools.
- Ensure smooth functioning of office technology and systems.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure the office complies with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Organizational Development
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with the startup’s goals and growth plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
