What requirements you'll need to be eligible

• University degree in Economics or Business.
• 5+ years of overall work experience in sales, marketing, or trade.
• Commodities trading expertise – Experience with vegetable oils, rice, soap, or dairy products.
• Work experience in Africa – must possess strong knowledge of business practices and cultural norms in West African markets.
• Fluency in French (spoken & written) – Essential for effective business communication in West Africa markets.

What you'll be doing on the job

• Lead the sales of the group portfolio of food ingredient products for the West Africa markets.
• Manage the entire trade process from contract signing to supply delivery and full payment.
• Capture the sales against the agreed volume and margins with existing customer base and new customers.
• Work closely with company support teams to ensure contracts are executed smoothly.
• Visit the markets at least 3 times a year to sell and update management of market development on the ground.
