What requirements you'll need to be eligible
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the geospatial technology sector.
- Strong understanding of geospatial technologies and government procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working on government projects involving geospatial technologies in Malaysia.
- Familiarity with the specific needs and challenges of government clients in the geospatial sector.
- Experience in managing large-scale geospatial projects and contracts.
What you'll be doing on the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential government clients and projects related to geospatial technologies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key government officials and decision-makers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with government clients.
- Monitor and respond to government tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of geospatial products/services.
- Stay updated on government policies, regulations, and procurement processes.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
