Who you'll be working for
Our client is a fast-growing call center startup driven by innovation, efficiency, and customer success. We’re building a passionate team that’s ready to scale, and looking for an experienced HR Operations Manager to help create a thriving workplace culture, streamline our people operations, and support the rapid growth.
What requirements you'll need to be eligible
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management / Business Management, or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a call center or BPO environment
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and Malaysian labor laws (or relevant local labor laws)
  • Experience in fast-paced or startup environments is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and resourceful approach
  • Expect full-time onsite work in Malaysia (KL) office
What you'll be doing on the job

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for call center roles (customer support agents, team leads, etc.)
  • Build scalable hiring processes and onboarding programs
  • Partner with operations and team leads to forecast and fulfill manpower needs

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and systems (attendance, payroll coordination, leave management)
  • Ensure labor law compliance and maintain proper employee documentation
  • Oversee employee contracts, HRIS tools, and internal recordkeeping

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Develop initiatives to enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention
  • Handle grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters with empathy and fairness
  • Promote a positive, high-performance work environment that reflects company values

Performance Management & Training

  • Coordinate performance reviews, KPIs, and feedback cycles
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs
  • Coach team leads and supervisors on team management best practices

Strategic HR Initiatives

  • Support leadership in workforce planning and organizational development
  • Introduce HR tech tools to streamline processes
  • Build and manage a small HR team as the company scales
