We are partnering with a prestigious insurance firm to recruit a dynamic Underwriter/Assistant Underwriter to join their high-performing Financial Line or Marine Line. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for underwriting, particularly in Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability.

Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite and assess risks for Financial Lines / Marine Lines, with a focus on D&O Liability.
Analyze submissions, determine risk acceptability, and negotiate terms.
Cultivate strong relationships with brokers to attract profitable business.
Identify process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency.
Support portfolio growth while maintaining underwriting discipline.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of underwriting experience (experience in P&C insurance is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
- Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Candidates will less experience may be considered for an Assistant Underwriter position.
