Senior IT Partner

This role is ideal for a versatile leader who possesses a unique blend of Business Analysis and Project Management expertise. Your background must be firmly rooted in software delivery, coupled with a solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud environments to enable credible dialogue with technical teams and informed decision-making. You will focus on stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and governance, while overseeing the project lifecycle from conception to delivery.

Who we’re looking for

• 1. Strategic Business Partnership (The "BA" Function)
• - Engage with senior business stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to understand strategic goals and translate them into detailed functional and technical requirements.
• - Conduct current state assessments, gap analyses, and feasibility studies to identify opportunities for process improvement through technology.
• - Act as the primary liaison between the business units in Malaysia and the regional/global IT teams, ensuring local needs are accurately represented and prioritized.
• 2. Project & Program Management (The "PM" Function)
• - Lead end-to-end project management for local and regional IT initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
• - Leverage your software delivery background to oversee the project lifecycle, from initiation to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• - Apply your infrastructure and cloud experience to assess project impacts on hosting strategies, network requirements, and operational readiness.
• - Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) with external consultants and solution providers.
• - Drive Agile or Hybrid project methodologies to adapt to changing business needs while mitigating risks and managing dependencies.
• 3. Leadership & Governance
• - Manage the local IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost optimization.
• - Mentor and guide a small team of IT specialists or analysts (if applicable), fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• - Report project status, KPIs, and ROI to the senior leadership team on a regular basis.
• - Ensure that all initiatives adhere to cybersecurity policies, data governance standards, and local regulatory requirements.
