About this role
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with a focus on Creative Digital and Search/AIO services
Lead the full BD cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal writing, pitch, negotiation, and closing
Conduct in-depth research on prospects to understand their business context, key stakeholders, and decision-making processes
Manage complex pre-sales and RFP processes, coordinating closely with production and delivery teams
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client portfolio
Maintain rigorous CRM discipline (HubSpot) and monitor market trends and the evolving AI/Search landscape
Represent Datawords at industry events and client meetings across the region
Who we’re looking for
- Experience & Skills
- 5+ years in business development or sales within a digital agency or digital services company
- Proven track record in complex, consultative sales environments
- An existing network in Hong Kong and the GBA, ready to activate from day one
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/Search, creative workflows, and AI-driven marketing trends
- Proficient in HubSpot; excellent communication and presentation skills

- Languages & Culture
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (all three required)
