RecruitFirst operates nine offices across seven Asia-Pacific markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Seoul, Taipei, Hsinchu, Kaohsiung and Jakarta. All nine are directly operated rather than franchised or licensed to a local partner, which is the structural fact behind most of what follows — a brief that crosses two of these markets is handled inside one organisation rather than passed between separate businesses.
Which offices cover which markets?
Singapore is the headquarters. Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Seoul and Jakarta each cover their own market. Taiwan is covered by three offices rather than one, because Taipei, Hsinchu and Kaohsiung are distinct labour markets — corporate and regional functions, the semiconductor and hardware ecosystem, and an industrial and logistics base respectively.
What does "directly operated" change in practice?
Three things a client notices.
- **A multi-market brief has one owner.** A regional search is coordinated inside one organisation, with one set of terms and one point of accountability, rather than being referred between independent licensees.
- **An internal move is a transfer, not a referral.** Consultants who move between our markets take their knowledge with them into the same business.
- **Data handling is governed by one policy.** When a candidate's details move between our offices, they move inside one organisation under one retention rule, not between separate companies under separate agreements.
Are all the offices licensed?
Employment agencies are licensed in most markets in the region, and our licence numbers are published in the footer of every page of this site rather than on request — Singapore EA Licence 13C6342 and Hong Kong Licence No. 83702. Both can be checked against the registers published by the Ministry of Manpower and the Labour Department.
Our Taiwan private employment agency permit details, and the government notices Taiwanese regulation requires us to display, are still to be confirmed and are marked as outstanding on this site rather than filled in with a plausible guess.
How is the group structured?
RecruitFirst is part of HRnetGroup, which is listed on the Singapore Exchange. The practical relevance to a client or a candidate is governance rather than branding: a listed parent brings audit, reporting and compliance obligations that apply to how the business is run.
How do you reach the right desk?
Directly. Each office has its own address, phone number and regional email address on the contact page, and the contact form routes by the office you select rather than into one shared inbox.
Three routes, deliberately separate:
- **Employers** hiring in any of these markets: the Hire Talent page, or the contact form with the office you want.
- **Candidates**: register a CV, and it goes to the consultant who covers that sector and market.
- **People who want to work at RecruitFirst**: the careers page, which is a separate application handled by our people team and kept out of the candidate database entirely.
What is not on this page
Headcount, placement volumes, revenue figures and founding dates are not stated here, because they are not published on this site and we would rather say nothing than approximate. If you need them for a procurement process, ask and we will supply what we can substantiate.
