About the Role
We are seeking a polished, client-focused Sales Associate to represent a French luxury fashion house and its fashion and jewelry collections. You will create a warm, personalized in-store experience, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to the boutique’s sales and service goals. The successful candidate combines a genuine interest in luxury with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence engaging with a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome clients to the boutique and provide attentive, discreet, and personalized service.
Discover each client’s needs and recommend suitable fashion and jewelry pieces, explaining product features, craftsmanship, materials, and care where appropriate.
Deliver a refined client experience throughout the sales journey, from initial consultation through purchase and follow-up.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, using appropriate follow-up to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
Work toward individual and boutique sales targets while upholding the house’s standards and values.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of current collections, new arrivals, product stories, and relevant fashion and jewelry trends.
Support the presentation of merchandise, including replenishment, visual standards, and the organization of displays.
Handle transactions, gift wrapping, client requests, and product enquiries accurately and professionally.
Follow boutique procedures for stock handling, inventory checks, security, and the care of valuable merchandise.
Collaborate with colleagues and management to support daily boutique operations and a consistent client experience.

- Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or client service is preferred; luxury, fashion, jewelry, or premium hospitality experience is an advantage.
- A genuine interest in fashion, jewelry, craftsmanship, and luxury client service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently and respectfully with different clients.
- A client-first approach and the ability to offer thoughtful, personalized recommendations without being overly transactional.
- Strong sales awareness and motivation to contribute to individual and team goals.
- Professional presentation, discretion, reliability, and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and remain composed in a busy retail environment.
- Confidence handling transactions and valuable merchandise with care and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, which may include weekends, holidays, or peak trading periods.
- Fluency in the local language is required; additional languages are an asset, particularly when serving an international clientele.
