RecruitFirst is part of HRnetGroup, which is listed on the Singapore Exchange, and is headquartered in Singapore. For most people reading this, the relevant question is not the corporate structure itself but what it changes about working with us — and the honest answer is that it changes three things: the governance we operate under, the continuity of the offices, and who carries the obligations when something goes wrong.
What does being part of a listed group actually mean?
That the group is subject to the reporting, audit and disclosure obligations that come with a listing, and that those obligations reach down into how the operating businesses are run. It is a governance fact rather than a marketing one.
For a client running a procurement process, that usually matters in two specific ways: the entity you contract with sits inside a structure with published financial reporting, and the policies you will be asked about — data handling, anti-bribery, employment practice — exist at group level rather than being improvised per office.
Why does it matter that the offices are directly operated?
Because the alternative, common in this industry, is a franchise or licensing model where the name is shared and the businesses are separate. Ours are not: all nine offices across seven markets are directly operated.
The practical consequences are the ones worth caring about.
- A regional brief is handled inside one organisation, under one agreement, with one accountable owner.
- A candidate's data moving between our offices moves inside one organisation under one retention rule.
- A consultant relocating between markets stays in the same business, so the knowledge does not leave with the move.
What does it not mean?
It does not mean every office is the same size, or that every market has the same depth in every sector. Nor does it mean a group structure substitutes for the specific question worth asking of any agency: who will actually work this role, and what have they placed in this market recently?
We would rather you asked that question than took the group structure as an answer to it.
What is deliberately not stated here
Financial figures, headcount, placement volumes, listing dates and market position are not stated on this site. Where those are needed — a vendor assessment, a tender, a due diligence process — ask us and we will supply what we can substantiate from published sources.
We would rather publish nothing than publish an approximation that reads as a fact. The same rule applies everywhere else on this site: where a number has not been confirmed, it is marked as outstanding rather than filled in.
Where can I read more?
HRnetGroup's own disclosures are published through the Singapore Exchange, which is the authoritative source for anything about the listed parent. For anything about RecruitFirst itself — markets, offices, licensing, how we work — the About and Contact pages here carry it, and a consultant will answer directly what those pages do not.
