Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Store Manager to lead a luxury retail team and deliver an exceptional, distinctly Italian brand experience. You will take full ownership of store performance, combining commercial leadership with an eye for detail, a passion for fashion, and a commitment to the highest standards of client service. As the face of the brand in your market, you will build lasting relationships with clients, develop a high-performing team, and ensure every aspect of the store reflects the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship, and values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead store performance: Own sales, profitability, and key performance indicators. Develop and execute action plans to meet and exceed commercial targets while protecting the brand’s positioning.
Deliver outstanding client experiences: Set the standard for attentive, personalised service. Build and maintain client relationships, support the development of a strong client book, and ensure the team consistently delivers thoughtful, discreet luxury service.
Develop and lead the team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain talented colleagues. Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, support individual development, and foster an inclusive, accountable, and motivating working environment.
Represent the brand: Communicate the brand’s Italian heritage, product stories, craftsmanship, and seasonal collections with confidence. Ensure the team is knowledgeable and consistently aligned with brand values and service standards.
Oversee daily operations: Manage store opening and closing, staffing, scheduling, cash handling, security, health and safety, and administrative processes in line with company policies and local regulations.
Manage stock and product: Oversee deliveries, replenishment, stock accuracy, inventory counts, transfers, and loss prevention. Work closely with regional and central teams to maintain availability and optimise product presentation.
Maintain visual and store standards: Ensure the sales floor, windows, fixtures, and back-of-house areas meet luxury presentation standards. Implement visual merchandising direction and maintain a polished, welcoming environment.
Analyse and report: Review sales results and operational data, identify opportunities and risks, and provide timely, accurate updates to relevant stakeholders. Use insight from clients, the team, and local market activity to inform store plans.
Build local connections: Support client events, product launches, and other brand initiatives. Identify opportunities to strengthen the store’s presence and develop relationships with local clients and partners.
Champion compliance: Uphold company policies and applicable employment, consumer, data privacy, and health and safety requirements. Handle client or team concerns professionally and escalate matters when appropriate.
Success in the Role
Success will be reflected in the achievement of commercial goals, strong client feedback and retention, effective team development, accurate stock and operational controls, and consistently excellent store presentation. The Store Manager will balance attention to detail with sound judgement, creating a high-performing store where clients and colleagues feel valued.
Working Relationships
You will work closely with sales associates, assistant managers, regional leadership, merchandising and visual teams, and central support functions. You may also coordinate with landlords, suppliers, and local partners as required.
